Epum gets its data by using AI to read the meeting minutes of planning-related municipal government commissions around the US.
Epum’s technology looks for new data weekly at over 1,000 municipalities across the US. Data recency depends on the timeliness of the local municipal government though. Oftentimes, the municipal government will post meeting notes around 1-6 weeks after the meetings occur.
Epum costs $50 per week, $450 per quarter, or $1,200 per year. Regarding enterprise pricing, it depends on the level of site selection consulting and geospatial analysis that will be provided to any potential enterprise partners.

Commercial real estate planning application data is the earliest indication of urban growth. Our users typically use our data to research future competitive supply, to understand future sources of demand (such as new housing), to source new acquisition or advisory opportunities, and to generally research the growth of any given metropolitan area across the US.
Users can create submarket dashboards to track a created submarket anywhere in the continental US. Submarkets can be created by entering an address and then inputing a certain radius of interest (in miles) around that address. Within the submarket dashboard, users will see a feed of properties that have been approved or went to public hearing over the last 12 months and meet the users inputted criteria. Once any new projects are approved within the defined area, users will receive an email as soon as the new approved project is identified by Epum’s AI technology.
Watch the video below to see an example of this feature:
Yes, users can export submarket-level data to Excel (CSV format) within a created submarket dashboard.
Users can share a project with non-users by clicking on any colorized parcel within the app and then clicking “Share Parcel” (in the bottom right of the screen) to generate a shareable link.
